Music

FCC is blessed with an exceptionally strong music program led by our Minister of Music, Melissa Ambrose-Eidson. Blending traditional hymns with new music, vocal music with instrumental music, choirs with soloists, the music at FCC is an integral part of our worship service

We have many opportunities for adults and children whose gift is musical talent. Current opportunities include, but are not limited to the following:

Chancel Choir: Practices on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. and on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. This adult group sings for Sunday Worship on a regular basis. They also present sacred oratorios, with added instrumental accompaniment, at special services in May and December.
Adult Bell Choir practices on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. This choir is ably directed by Lori Dixon.
Youth Bell Choir practices on Wednesday evenings from 6 – 7 p.m.
FCC Brass plays for Sunday Worship on a regular basis. The group practices on Sunday at 9:00 a.m.
FCC Strings practices on Thursday evening from 6 – 7 p.m. This group includes adult and youth musicians.
Summer Sign-up is an opportunity for individuals of all ages to share their musical talent with the congregation in a wide variety of formats.
